A Year To Remember

It’s crazy to think that this time last year I was just 65 miles away welcoming in the new year with a small group of friends and family. I find myself reflecting on what an incredible year this has been for me, mixed with both the highs and lows. How I went from a steady job teaching abroad, to returning to a completely new part of the UK to pursue my dream of creating my own business.

The year began for our friends ‘down under’ battling with relentless bush-fires before Covid became the story of the year. It’s hard to think back to a time before ‘social distancing’ or before it was the ‘norm’ to walk around wearing masks. But in a year where there has been so much hurt suffering and devastation, I also have so much to be grateful for.

This was the year that I decided to give up a stable career in the pursuit of my dreams and passions. I have always loved teaching, but after coming across coaching and experiencing first hand how powerful it was, I knew I had to pursue it.

I researched and found myself on the perfect course for me thanks to @fullcircleglobal. On the completion of my ICF accreditation, I found myself drawn to their Wellness Coaching qualification. I truly was in the right place at the right time for me, I benefited so much from what I learnt, putting into action straight away.

Here are some of the highlights of the year for me:

  • Becoming an ICF accredited Coach along with Wellness Coaching certification
  • Hosting multiple webinars and workshops
  • Launching challenges for myself and followers
  • Guest speaker on a podcast and workshops
  • Collaborating with some amazing people
  • Connecting with some amazing people on Linkedin.
  • Serving clients to overcome obstacles and challenges to find success.

There are too many people to thank for my successes this year. But to everyone I have connected with, it has been great getting to know you and I look forward to connecting with more people in the future.

In this next year I am really looking forward to growing my business:

  • Launching Your Way to Wellness 4 week workshop in January with Seipp Coaching
  • Working with Student Breakthrough to bring the Mental Health and Recovery Curriculum to the South West
  • Running Wellness workshops for schools and businesses to empower teams and individuals to balance themselves such that they are better serving themselves and their jobs.
  • Serving more clients with 1 on 1 coaching sessions
  • Exploring my new home in the stunning county of Cornwall
